Color, light, energy and movement work together within the interior design scheme for this elementary performing arts school building to promote a creative undercurrent for the young student participants. Calm general wall and carpet colors are accented by bright primary colors and unexpected patterns that relate to the intended uses for each studio space.

Furnishings, equipment and accessories in the arts studios are designed to be as flexible as possible to allow for adaptation and multi-use. The Media Center is one large soaring space, but with interesting furniture layouts to create very separate spaces for book stacks, computers, private study, and group reading events.
