Having recently merged with another advertising group, the client required a larger office space. They decided to stay in their current space and expand laterally to an adjacent building. The main objective of the design was to create a clarity of spatial planning by visually linking the two buildings without compromising the architectural integrity of each historical structure. The bold use of materials and heritage of the West Main Street buildings evoke a sense of the “familiar” where a fusion is created between the old and the new.
