This new 12,430 square-foot corporate campus serves as the headquarters for a major asphalt and gravel company operating in Bardstown and the surrounding counties. Designed with a forward-facing, contemporary aesthetic, the building reflects the company’s progressive vision while supporting the demanding functions of a command center for daily operations. The architecture balances industrial durability with refined detailing, symbolizing the company’s commitment to quality, precision, and long-term growth in the region. The building’s exterior features a modern mix of materials, including random-pattern box rib and flush metal wall panels that lend a clean, industrial character. Steel canopies and cantilevered roof overhangs add functional shading while contributing to the dynamic roofline. The primary entrance is marked by thermally modified stained wood siding and soffits, paired with rough-cut stone veneer—materials that ground the building in the company’s connection to the land and natural resources. Generous aluminum storefronts and curtainwall systems bring natural light deep into the building, enhancing transparency and openness throughout the interior.

Inside, the design prioritizes clarity, comfort, and resilience. The layout is organized into distinct programmatic zones to support administrative, engineering, and operational needs. Visitors are welcomed into a spacious lobby with an adjacent HR interview room and a large conference room for corporate meetings. The Administration and Finance wing includes 10 private offices and a dedicated conference room, providing a focused environment for essential business functions. The Engineering wing, with 9 offices, a shared work area, tool storage, and a separate entrance, is tailored for field coordination and technical operations. A dedicated 750-square-foot Training Room with its own entrance and restrooms accommodates up to 50 plant employees for ongoing training and safety programs.

The building includes an interior storm shelter and is backed up by an emergency generator, ensuring continuity and employee safety during severe weather or power outages. Interior finishes feature 10-foot ceilings and durable stained concrete floors, offering a clean, modern look that is both practical and professional. Outside, the site is enhanced with staff and visitor parking and a landscaped courtyard that provides outdoor space for informal gatherings and breaks. Altogether, the campus is a highly functional, visually impactful facility that supports both the day-to-day operations and long-term vision of a growing industry leader.
