WHEN

2013

Since its inception in 1983, its role evolved as a venue for culturally diverse programs promoted to a wide range of audiences. That suggested the facility should express more energy, vitality and theatricality than the formality of its original design. The additions and renovations respect the geometric assertiveness of the original, while adding layers of complexity and wonder to the audience experience.  The changes included restorations of the building exterior; revitalization of exterior plazas; an expanded lobby; and new interior finishes, signage, and patron amenities.
