Set within the three-acre Market Street Park are the German American Pavilion and Market Street Pavilion. Resulting from a collaborative process with Taylor Siefker Williams Design Group and the City of Huntingburg, the structures compliment the contemporary landscape design and strengthen the city’s identity all the while respecting the historic Old Town Hall – a strong symbol of the community. The Market Street Pavilion dually serves as the Farmers Market (providing over 4,500 square feet of sheltered vendor space) and as a covering for twenty parking spaces. The German American Pavilion is a unique, two-sided performance pavilion measuring 40’ in diameter; the stage can be arranged to face the lawn during large community events or towards Fourth Street during more intimate daily occurrences.
