When DCL Logistics looked to expand their ecommerce, B2B and multi-channel fulfillment operation from the west coast, Louisville was a natural choice. With 70% of the US population located east of the Mississippi and Louisville’s access to UPS World Port, this new facility was a must for their business. Joseph & Joseph Architects is proud to have recently completed this new logistics/distribution center. The facility was constructed with tilt up sandwich panel exterior walls and boasts 25 dock doors, 375 kWh solar panel system, a temperature control room, and infrastructure for a future automated fulfillment system. In addition, the facility includes approximately 4,000 sqft of 2nd floor office space and a conditioned shipping assembly space.
