The Sandy Allen Fine Arts Center is a state-of-the-art performing arts facility on the Ballard High School campus. The fine arts center is used for musical and theatrical productions put on by the school’s fine arts department, as well as other community arts organizations. The 900 seat performance hall, stage, and shell have musical and spoken-word acoustical qualities that have been highly complimented by many performers.

The performance hall volume intersects with and overlaps the volume of the dramatic glass enclosed lobby space—which includes an art gallery, public rest rooms, coat rooms, elevator and a grand stair to the balcony level. Other support facilities include dressing rooms, audio and lighting control rooms, and storage.
