Highland Avenue House
As one of the first buildings located within the Highlands Historic District this house is a prime example of a typical working-class home of its era. Originally home to a harness maker and his family, the building was haphazardly transformed into a duplex in the 1940s.
Today, with pending historic tax credits, Buckingham Associates has employed Joseph & Joseph to renovate the home in a truly appropriate manner. With a small addition in the rear, the building will be transformed into four apartments that will be keeping with the historic character of the neighborhood.
