| Brown-Forman Forester Center This reinforced-concrete structure was originally built as a 12-story whiskey warehouse for the Brown-Forman Corporation. In 1987 when the corporation started using another facility for storage, Joseph & Joseph (the original architects of the building) was chosen as the project architects to redesign the facility for office use. The $16-million rehabilitation received great acclaim for “transforming the unlikely into the elegant.” (Historic Preservation Mag. Jan/Feb, 1991) Preservation Awards: • Kentucky Heritage Council • Preservation Alliance • Louisville Historical League |
